Fantasize animation & billboard
ANIMATION
🧋 Fantasize (verb): To dream about the largest bottle of orange soft drink! Fantasize/fantasise also means to develop imaginative, fantastic ideas, and this seemed appropriate for an animation about Fanta. As a kid, Fanta was my summer drink of choice. It reminds me so much of holidays, especially on balmy Australian days.
I first sketched the design using Royal Talens Ecoline brush pens, then scanned the design into Illustrator and animated it in After Effects.
BILLBOARD
Transforming the animation into a billboard was a quick production. Using a billboard mockup, the design was embedded to appear as a Fanta advert high above the suburbs, enticing locals to overcome the summer swelter with a refreshing orange beverage, iconic to the Coca-Cola brand family.
